Bach & Zelenka – Thüringer Bachwochen 2024

As part of the Thüringer Bachwochen ARMIDA FILM recorded Johann Sebastian Bach’s Easter Oratorio and Jan Dismas Zelenka’s Missa Paschalis at the Georgenkirche in Eisenach with the ensemble Vox Luminis.

With its first performances in 2004, the Belgian early music ensemble Vox Luminis has already secured a permanent place in the international spotlight with its unique sound. Founder, artistic director and bass singer Lionel Meunier has put the ensemble together in such a way that each voice can shine both solo and as part of a luminous sound structure.
